How many trays should I buy?
Depending on the complexity of the install it might be worth purchasing a few more extra trays in order to take into account some wastage that can arise from cutting the pods.
If your roof has various features that you will have to install the trays around such as rooflights or chimneys then this might require you to cut some trays thereby increasing the chance of creating some wastage in the process.
As a general rule purchasing 5% more trays on top of the original roof area is a sound approach and will save you from paying for the additional shipment costs associated with having to make a secondary order to fill the gaps.
